Those who desire the knowledge and wisdom to change the clan with not swords but with speech are for the council the following ranks are what you can expect as a new member to the council profession.
Council Assistant: those of the councils beginning must first learn the law and the punishments before they can achieve the title of council member.
Council Member : The council consists of many who desire to change or improve the clan be it in traditions to the very laws we follow they are the jury of every trial as well as the judge of which makes judgement call however the final call only goes to that of a high council member who may consider a vote or request a second opinion to complete the trial and promote the judgement.
High Council Member: those of the high council make the rules and regulations as well as keep the laws in order and the punishments of which they are connected with high council members only hold to a max of 3 members each hand chosen from the elder himself to be the best of all the council to speak for the council.
Alpha: those who achieve alpha status are able to attend and be part of the high council consideration these individuals know the laws and punishments left and right not to mention have had their share of situations of which they have made solid to some disheartening judgements in order to keep the clan in order and in peace.
You'll notice that some professions like the council do not have as many as others like that of the combat class this isn't saying they achieve ranks faster instead it takes longer for them to achieve the next rank than it would one who has to go through several ranks to achieve alpha.
